I absolutely loved this post! As Robert’s partner in life, I’m beyond excited about this new creative and collaborative law partnership. It’s such a great story of your individual and shared histories as musicians and artists, as well as your mutual dedication to growing, staying curious, and supporting the profound impact that music and the arts have on our culture and the human experience. AND I that Heather remembered and gifted you that sweet guitar!
You weren't kidding about the look-alike! Congrats on your partnership -- if I ever do anything creative, and it's potentially lucrative, you will be my first call (but those are big ifs).
What a great posting. I'm so glad you found meaningful work in an industry that addresses both your intellect, and your heart as a creative musician. And of course, you couldn't find a better associate/musician/philosopher/friend than Carrie, who is famous for her art, her mind and her heart. What a great combination! Thanks for the work you do to support artists doing what they feel is important.
Congratulations on the new venture, John! I looked to see if there’s an open-licensed Entertainment Law book (free/friendly to students), and I found this one from my friend and colleague: http://ericejohnson.com/projects/entertainment_law_compendium/. He offers the Word file if you’re interested in remixing to include your materials. And perhaps the publisher’s rights to your previous favorite have expired and it could be updated/re-platformed as open-licensed. Just a thought, and I’d be happy to discuss further!
Hi John! I just tried to call the number on the Meitus Strohm website, and it repeatedly goes straight to music (and it’s elevator music, not Lemonheads - ha). I just left you an Instagram message with my number so you can call me at your convenience!
Just for the sake of clarity, in case anyone else is trying to email you through the hyperlink, I suspect you have a typo in your email address which spells your name “stohm”. I wouldn’t want you to miss any business! I sent my email to both the hyperlink, and also
one that spells it “strohm” to cover all the bases.
Thanks, proud of it! Aaron Gresham in Birmingham helped us, did a great job.

Much appreciated!
If I ever had the need I would definitely buy law products from your firm. Too bad you don’t do divorce law?
By design! Thank you.

Great looking brand!
Thanks, proud of it! Aaron Gresham in Birmingham helped with the visual brand.
Looks like Magnolia Electric Co. Jason Molinas label Secretly Canadian is from Bloomington. Could be an inspiration? I'll go with it.
Congratulations and all the best to you and Robert and your team on the new/rebranded practice, John. Carrie pointed me to this story, glad she did.
Best of luck in your new adventure!
I’m calling your office today!

Awesome backstory! Expect the unexpected. Love you've still got the passion!
