Julianne Ankley was hiding in plain sight at CMA Fest for years. She is really stunning to see perform in person.

India Ramey and Kevin Carducci are on my list for everyone to watch in country. India is goth country with a brilliant new album and Kevin is the heir to the Buck Owens/Dwight Bakersfield country sound.

I’ve known India since she was a law firm lawyer in Birmingham over a decade ago. Very talented and cool, glad to see many years of work, both business and creative, starting to pay off. Seen Kevin’s name, I’ll check it out.

Haven’t done promotion in a decade + country is way outside my experience. Had no idea the spend could go that high for a Country #1. Interesting.

Really enjoyed reading this and glad you have a promising new client in the wings.

I like a lot of Wallen's stuff, but I think part of the reason he's a big star now is all the shenanigans he's pulled. They painted him as a guy who does what he wants for better or worse, reminded me a bit of some of the controversial things that got Tim McGraw some publicity back in the day,and id even argue that that year he was away after he got caught on that camera saying what he said made him even bigger on his return than he might have otherwise been. People genuinely missed him. I went to a show at the Sounds stadium and they had that guy Ernes,t who's written with Wallen, playing. And while he'd written bigger songs with bigger artists at the time, none of those songs got the same audience reactions the Wallen songs did. Love him or hate him, he's got a star quality most other acts don't have.
